Snow in NYC. If you squint a little you can imagine a snowy clearing in the woods of Vermont. The snow freshens the city like a new coat of paint. |

The drifts were so high I could easily abuse my local basketball goal. |
Speaking of drifting snow, people drift as well, buffeted left and right by the winds of life. Theatre life can be particularly windy at times. It's easy to get blown off course and goals can seem illusive. But sometimes the wind helps. Have a good gusty new year! |
