Just more and more relaxation.  Is this a great country or what?  The photos below were taken by Roland Nichols, international equities trader.  Rolly lives in Tokyo but travels most of the time.  When in Los Angeles, he wakes at 4 am to prepare for the US market openings.  When he travels, his suites are always equipped with extra televisions so that he can watch the financial channels.  He has the coolest software which summarizes the movements of markets from Japan to Europe to the US.  If an arbitrage opportunity arises, his software will notify him instantly.  If he is away from the computer, it e-mails his cell phone.  We (Julie Damon and I)  were lucky enough to catch him on a holiday for the exchanges.  He graciously offered to review our portfolios.  It seems I'm a little short on technologies and long on bell weather blue chips.  Then we reciprocated by touring Rolly around the city.  

Rolly said he would be in Seattle on October 1st to meet with some of the Microsoft money and promised to see Parade at the Fifth Avenue Playhouse.  You don't have to have millions to see a great musical.

Rolly thought this would make a fine picture. See the Hollywood sign in the distance?   Rolly said we should change the H to an R and call it Rollywood.  He would not let us take his picture though.  Something about maintaining anonymity.  Julie's not sure his name is really Roland Nichols.
